The Lee Residence | The Lakelands

A Modern Masterpiece of Chinese-Inspired Architecture
Overlooking the serene waterways of The Lakelands, Gold Coast, the Lee Residence is a profound architectural statement. This project reinterprets traditional Eastern motifs through a lens of 21st-century minimalism, resulting in a Chinese Modern sanctuary that harmonizes perfectly with its premium waterfront position.

The Design Vision
The silhouette of the Lee Residence is defined by its signature curved rooflines and flying eaves. These structural elements pay homage to classical Chinese pagodas while serving the practical purpose of providing deep-set shade and sophisticated water shedding for the Queensland climate.

Sculptural Roof Artistry: The dramatic sweep of the "flying eaves" creates a weightless, soaring aesthetic that distinguishes the home within the Lakelands enclave.

Zen Waterfront Integration: Designed to maximize the waterfront view, the rear of the home utilizes expansive glazing to bring the calming energy of the lake directly into the primary living zones.

Modern Material Fusion: A high-contrast palette of dark charcoal tiles, crisp white renders, and warm timber accents creates a bridge between ancient tradition and modern luxury.

Feng Shui Spatial Planning: The layout prioritizes the flow of "Qi," featuring an open-void entrance and a seamless transition from the interior gallery to the lakeside alfresco.

Bespoke Craftsmanship by Amores
At Amores, we specialize in bringing complex, culturally significant visions to life. For the Lee Residence, our drafting team navigated the intricate geometry of the curved roof structures while ensuring the home met strict Gold Coast City Council building codes. Every angle was precision-engineered to ensure that the "flying" elements of the design were as structurally sound as they are visually breathtaking.

"The Lee Residence is a celebration of heritage and horizon. We wanted to honor the grace of traditional Chinese architecture while grounding it in the relaxed, luxurious lifestyle of The Lakelands." — Allan Amores
